General information, not advice
Everything on this website is general information about studying abroad. It is not advice about your situation and you should not treat it as the only basis for a decision.
Reading this site, sending us a message or attending a free consultation does not create a professional relationship or an obligation on our part until we have agreed a service with you in writing.
Immigration and visas
Happy Education is not registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) and does not give immigration advice.
What we provide is administrative and application support. We can help you gather documents, check that an application is complete, complete forms using information you give us, book appointments and keep track of deadlines.
We cannot and do not:
- advise which visa route is right for you
- assess whether you meet the requirements
- interpret the immigration rules as they apply to your circumstances
- advise on a refusal, an appeal, an administrative review or a reapplication
- represent you before any immigration authority
Every immigration decision is made by the relevant government authority, not by us, and we never promise, guarantee or predict an outcome. A fee paid to us buys the work we do, never a result.
For the rules themselves, use the official source: gov.uk visas and immigration. To find a regulated immigration adviser, use the Immigration Advice Authority. For another country, use that country's official government website and its own regulated advisers.
If you need advice rather than administrative support, we will tell you so. That is not us being unhelpful, it is the line the law draws and we intend to stay on the right side of it.
Information about institutions and courses
Course details, entry requirements, fees, deadlines, rankings, accreditation and accommodation information come from the institutions themselves and from official sources. They change frequently and often without notice.
We check the pages that matter most and show the date of the last review. Even so, always confirm anything you are relying on directly with the institution before you apply, pay a deposit or book travel. If our page and the institution's page disagree, the institution is right.
Where we describe a school's accreditation or membership, that accreditation belongs to that school. It does not belong to Happy Education and we do not claim it.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that you will be offered a place, awarded a scholarship, granted a visa, given particular accommodation, achieve a particular grade or level, or find work during or after your studies. Anyone who guarantees those things is not being straight with you.
Costs and money
Any cost estimate, budget or currency figure on this site is illustrative. Exchange rates move, institutions raise fees, and living costs vary by city and by person. Nothing here is financial advice, and we are not authorised to give it.
Health, insurance and safety
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Insurance information is general, and the policy wording your insurer gives you is what decides what is covered. Travel safety guidance should come from the official source for your country, which for UK residents is gov.uk foreign travel advice.
Other websites
We link to institutions, official guidance and other resources. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say or do, and a link is not an endorsement.
English and Turkish versions
This website is published in English and Turkish. We write each version rather than translating it mechanically, and we try to keep them equivalent.
If you find a difference that matters, please tell us and we will correct it. For a contract, the version in the language in which you dealt with us is the one that applies to you.
Testimonials and examples
Where we publish a student's experience, it is that person's experience, published with their permission. It is not a prediction of what will happen for you.
Limits on our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by us failing to use reasonable care and skill, as set out in our service terms.
We are not responsible for a decision made by an institution or a government authority, for a provider's performance, for a loss caused by information given to us that was wrong or incomplete, or for events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing on this page limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
